01 · The context

What it is and who it serves.

Living Stone Contractors LLC operates in the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia) focused on home remodeling — interior, exterior, additions, kitchens, baths and commercial build-outs. Licensed (MHIC #165925). A small team that needed to keep its services catalog and gallery fresh without depending on a developer for every change.

02 · The problem

What's broken.

Every small change to the site (new service, last project photo, new testimonial) meant requesting a manual edit. For a growing operation, that does not scale. They needed autonomy over their content without losing technical control.

03 · My role

What I did.

Full-stack development (Astro frontend + Express backend + admin panel), brand direction and social media management in the US. Same engagement as Professional Construction.

04 · The solution

What exactly I built.

01 Astro 4 frontend with Content Collections and REST API consumption for dynamic content.
02 Express backend with PostgreSQL (Neon in production, Docker locally).
03 Password-protected admin panel at /admin to manage services, gallery and testimonials.
04 Image upload via Multer + Sharp + Cloudinary for CDN and automatic optimization.
05 Deploy on Render configured via render.yaml.
06 Brand identity applied (Asparagus #6B8F4E + Eerie Black palette, Montserrat typography).
